Hey there!
Thankyou for such great info on such a Legendary player!! I wished I had gone to seen him play ‘Live’ in his peak at AC Milan or Sampdoria. Only had the opportunity to see him play on TV during the limited TV coverage of 1988 Euro Championship in West Germany, and winning the European Cups of the now famous Champions League during the late 1980’s-1990’s!! The guy was a freak!! Even at Chelsea in 1995, would’ve been ok - but was past his best then! I can’t believe a guy such as Hoddle, could play the master at ‘Sweeper’. No wonder the English FA gave Hoddle the boot, after the 1998 WC in France!!
PS. Keep the info coming along!!!

Gullit has been my foot baller of all times.I have been following his carrier since Euro ‘88.He is a foot ball legend in every sence.Since his retirement from foot ball I have not been active foot ball fan as I used to be.My friends fondly called me “the Dutch trio” due to the fact that Gulit, Vanbasten & Rijkaard are at one time playing for A.C. Milan, both of them are Dutch internationals and I became A.C Milan fan because of them. I have always been in support of Dutch national foot ball team during their playing days.
